SEATTLE, Dec. 15, 2014 -- FlowPlay, a leader in virtual world games and technology, today announced that its social casino game, Vegas World, has been named the Best Social Gaming App of the Year at the 2014 International Gaming App Awards. Vegas World was recognized at a ceremony in Londonon December 8 as part of Clever Duck Media's inaugural International Gaming App Awards – celebrating free-to-play, social games, and traditional games in the iGaming and online casino industry.
From the most aesthetically-pleasing designs to the highest innovations in technology, the App Awards showcase the very best work in the industry, with particular emphasis on how games are connecting with consumers, and driving their business forward. Vegas World's full suite of casual casino games, customizable avatars, virtual goods, and multiplayer functionality differentiated the app among other finalists in the social gaming category including Big Fish Games and Plumbee.

Vegas World was also recognized in August as a 2014 Tabby Awards User's Choice winner in the 'iPad Game: Cards, Casino and Dice' category. Honoring outstanding consumer tablet apps and games – judges of the Tabby Awards, including officials from the Entertainment Consumers Association, reviewed more than 200 submissions before selecting finalists. User's Choice winners were then determined by app users and gamers who cast nearly 100,000 votes, selecting their favorite apps among the panel-selected finalists in each category.
